• Erected Shell - Some people choose to have a Crockett team come in and erect the shell (subfloor, walls, roof, windows and doors). Then the home owner, or a local builder, oversees the completion and finishing of the home.

• Local Builder -Others prefer to hire a local builder to do everything—from land clearing and well and septic—to complete finishing of the home. You or your builder buys the home kit and the builder then does everything. A total turnkey home.

• Do-it-yourself - More and more, people are trying to make their dollars go further. If you are handy, especially on a smaller and uncomplicated design, you can reduce your expenses considerably by building your new home (or part of it) yourself!
